Alex Nelson Doctor of Physical Therapy PT, DPT
Alex was born and grew up in West Valley City, Utah. He graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. He then went on to attend Rocky Mountain University and earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree.
Alex has a passion for treating people with a broad range of orthopedic conditions from running injuries to knee replacements.He is also certified in dry needling and his expertise carries over into treating vertigo and balance impairments.
Alex has been married for eight years to his wife Kimberlie. Together, they have two boys. They enjoy going on bike rides, playing at the park, and watching movies together.
Julie Haake Doctor of Physical Therapy PT, DPT
Dr. Julie Haake grew up in Keller, Texas. She pursued her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with a focus on Exercise Science at California State University, Northridge, where she became the first CSUN student-athlete to play four years of both indoor and beach volleyball. Upon graduation, Julie moved to Kansas City to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Saint Mary.
Julie loves to travel and spend time with her family and friends. She is a self-proclaimed foodie, an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, and enjoys staying active by hiking, running, strength training, practicing yoga, and playing sports.
Dr. Julie Haake became interested in physical therapy due to her involvement in sports, and is passionate about treating athletes, empowering the geriatric population, and pelvic health physical therapy.
